New Idealliance Staff Members to Expand and Enhance Association’s Programs, Services, and Outreach

Alexandria, Va. (Oct. 18, 2016) – Idealliance, a communications industry association representing all facets of the global omnichannel media value chain, is pleased to announce that three new hires have joined its staff in key member services, programs, and outreach roles:
Julian Greer, CMP, has been named Idealliance Manager of Events.
Richelle Kelly is the new Idealliance Manager of Communities & Working Groups.
Brannan Meyers has become Idealliance Manager of Membership & Chapters.
“We are excited to welcome these outstanding new employees to our staff,” says Idealliance President and Chief Executive Officer David J. Steinhardt. “Over the past several months, following our July 1 merger, we have worked to combine the complementary strengths of Idealliance and Epicomm and to hone the mission and goals of our new association,” says Steinhardt. “Now we are building on the synergy of this combination by investing in resources that will take us to an even higher level of member service and industry support.
“These three individuals bring considerable skills and extensive experience and expertise in their respective areas, and they will play significant roles in enabling us to broaden our member services and programs and encourage greater member input and collaboration in developing industry standards and best practices and addressing pressing industry issues. Adding their energy and abilities to our efforts, our newest staff members will help us fulfill the future we envision for Idealliance and its members.”
Julian Greer will be a key contributor to the planned launch of Idealliance “Metro Events,” a series of meetings for members at convenient locations around the country, as well as ensure the association’s Annual “Experience” Conference and other specialty events effectively meet the networking and educational needs of all members.
Greer served for more than a decade as a Project Manager and Meeting Planner with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), where she managed meetings and conferences including an event for more than 15,000 attendees. She was previously Board of Director Liaison/Meeting Planner with the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists and an Event Coordinator with Associated Consultants. A Certified Meeting Professional, she attended Northern Virginia Community College.
Kelly and Meyers will be working to enhance member service and involvement with the association, with the former managing its in-person and virtual communities and more than two dozen Working Groups, and the latter having overall membership responsibility and oversight of its regional member chapters.
Richelle Kelly previously served as Meetings & Membership Manager with Barrack Association Management, where she developed and implemented strategies for membership recruitment and retention, managed membership activities and member service programs, and designed and implemented marketing efforts to promote membership, meetings, expositions, and sponsorships, among other responsibilities.
Prior to Barrack, she was Registrar and Technical Service Manager with the Voluntary Protection Programs Participants’ Association, Inc., Logistics and Circulation Coordinator with the American Society for Training and Development, and Assistant Database Manager with the Association for Information and Image Management. She studied Information Systems and Computer Science at Southeastern University and has extensive experience in database management for association management.
Brannan Meyers comes to Idealliance following service as Chapter Relations Manager at the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, where she was principal point of contact for its global chapters and their members. She previously served as Global Community Administrator with the Association of Clinical Research Professionals, where she focused on outreach to, and membership opportunities for, emerging professionals, and was Membership & Leadership Coordinator with the Construction Specifications Institute.
Meyers holds a B.A. Degree in Communications from Denison University and has participated in the State University of New York/Brockport and Binghamton University Spanish language study programs in Spain and Costa Rica.
