Albin Baranauskas is the Managing Director of Techkon GmbH in Königstein, Germany. He is highly experienced in every aspect of the correct use of color measuring devices and software. His 25+ years at Techkon, as Director of Sales, and then as Managing Director, have given him an unmatched level of expertise in densitometers,  spectrophotometers, and color quality software solutions for both the print and packaging industries. He has conducted trainings in different parts of the world demonstrating color measurement for printing, packaging, photography, wide format and digital reproduction, with the goal to always enable the finest quality print, deliver the highest ROI, and provide the best possible user experience in the industry. He is certified as an Idealliance G7® Expert.

Andrew Bullock is a Partner at Spanner, LLC, a creative studio in Portland, OR focused on design, print, and color management consulting. Mr. Bullock’s intent in starting Spanner was to make the design world better through collaboration, education, and continual growth. With a unique perspective that includes a background in both operations and design creation, Mr. Bullock has 20+ years of design, brand, and printing industry experience as well as extensive working knowledge of manufacturing processes and standards. In one of his roles, Mr. Bullock serves as an embedded expert leading a global color and print initiative to define and streamline work processes and workflows with Sony Interactive Entertainment across the global creative and operations teams. Mr. Bullock’s specialties include color management and print processes, brand development, strategy and stewardship, graphic design, production design and project management for retail, tradeshow, and PR events. He is a certified G7® Expert as well as a Certified BrandQ® Manager and has collaborated with Idealliance in teaching classes domestically and internationally.

Sonja Dearden is the Print Production Manager at Lindt & Sprüngli (USA), Inc., in Stratham, NH, where she has worked for almost ten years. She has over 15 years of experience in graphic design, print production, and marketing. Her experience includes having managed prepress, press checks, brand compliance for more than 3,000 print jobs totaling more than $15M in print costs, and she has managed teams ranging in size from 2-30+ employees. In addition, Ms. Dearden wrote all G7 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to be used by 80+ designers, vendors, marketing, and quality assurance team members, and completed over 50 hours of hands-on G7 training over 2 years to maintain the highest quality standards of global color consistency. Her specialties include G7®, print production, prepress, press checks, graphic design, package design, marketing, brand management, and more.

Jack Frank leads the color management group for WestRock’s Multi Packaging Solutions division in North America. His primary responsibility is for the design, management, and support of corporate color management solutions across all MPS facilities. He is also an advisor to WestRock on company-wide color workflow strategies. Mr. Frank’s broad and deep understanding of packaging workflows and standardization places him in the forefront of innovators in his field. Among his achievements is the implementation of multicolor (ECG) processes at multiple MPS sites. A veteran of a quarter century in the industry, and a G7® Expert, his experience reaches across litho, flexo, and digital print sectors.

Edward Jansen is the Vice President of PPS Professional Services at Canon Solutions America, Inc. in Boca Raton, FL. He joined Canon Solutions America in 1990 with a focus on critical product introductions and improving the company’s ongoing service strategies. Mr. Jansen’s career has led him to roles in national software support, software sales, and to his current role as the VP of Professional Services for the Canon Solutions America PPS Division. His team, which includes a group of National Color Specialists with G7® Certification, develops key strategies around color management and workflow automation engaging with customers to optimize their workflow for inkjet and toner color output.

Brian Keith is the Print & Color Management Senior Program Manager of Packaging and Content at Microsoft in Redmond, WA. He has 20+ years of design, brand and packaging industry experience as well as extensive working experience with industry production and manufacturing standards and processes. Over Mr. Keith’s tenure at Microsoft, he has helped launch world-class product packaging that meets stringent quality specifications while also meeting the requirements of a quality conscious and cost-effective worldwide supply chain. As Senior Product Manager, he led the creation and worldwide implementation of a new end-to-end color management program across Microsoft’s worldwide supply chain and integrated industry standards and G7® methodologies into the program.

Traci L. Lucien is the Vice President of the Print Center at AARP in Washington, DC. Ms. Lucien began her career at AARP 35 years ago focusing on print production for its two publications, AARP The Magazine and AARP Bulletin both with a circulation over 23 million copies. Today, she is responsible for leading a production management group that serves the broader enterprise with print and mail expertise from digital print on demand, commercial offset, gravure printing, mail, distribution, letter shop, fulfillment and inventory ordering solutions. Under her leadership she ensures that all print/mail activities align with the organization’s priorities; develops cost-effective solutions that leverage AARP’s print buying power; develops standardized workflow processes; sourcing and vendor management.

Todd Maute is a Partner at CBX LLC in New York, NY, a brand agency and design firm. He works with CPG clients and retail clients across multiple channels of trade, including grocery, drug, mass, pet specialty, consumer electronics, convenience, office, home improvement, clubs, and auto parts supply. Under his leadership, CBX offers specialized services, including retail strategy, brand development, market research, package design and store design. Prior to joining CBX, Mr. Maute was Vice President of Marketing and Consumer Research for Daymon Worldwide and ran the package design business. Daymon Worldwide is a global $10 billion sales and marketing company specializing in retail development of private label programs. He has published articles on private label branding for PLBuyer, Store Brand Decisions, and Progressive Grocer. He has also spoken at FMI, PLMA, and NACS about retail brand development and growth.

Meghan Milkowski joined Dow Jones in October 2017 and is currently the Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations in the Print Group. She is currently leading multiple projects to optimize print, delivery and circulation. Prior to joining Dow Jones, Ms. Milkowski was president of The Hill, an online news source for policy and political coverage. She also served as Vice President of Production & Circulation at Prometheus Global Media. Her 25 years of publishing experience started at Life magazine, marking up pasteboards for prepress. Moving to Time, she progressed from production and operations to leadership roles in imaging and business management. She is the recipient of Luminaire Award and the Gamma Epsilon Tau Gold Key Awards. Both are awarded to media leaders for positive influence, excellence, and dedication to the graphic communications industry.

Toby Saalfeld is US Director, Color Management for Ricoh USA, Inc. In this role he designs color management innovations that focus on the real-world needs of commercial print, in-plant, publishing, and design environments, with a vision to raise the bar industry-wide with services and products that make color management a worthwhile investment for anyone – from the design stage to final production. Working in the production printing industry since 1996, Saalfeld has become a leading authority and expert on real world color management solutions. In 2012, he developed and is now leading Ricoh’s Color Elite Team – a group of highly-specialized color management experts located throughout the United States. Prior to joining Ricoh in 2009, Saalfeld held positions in engineering, sales, and marketing, and worked at some of the top enterprise companies in the industry in Europe and the United States. Originally from Düsseldorf, Germany, Saalfeld is now based out of Los Angeles, California. He is an Idealliance certified G7® Expert and Color Management Professional® Master.

Wayne Marshall is Owner of Flatout Branding, a marketing company that services NAPA AutoCare. He has spent over 30 years working within the graphic communication industry assisting many clients like Pella, John Deere and Firestone Tire in developing and communicating their brands to the marketplace.
