IDEAlliance Publishes 2011 Printing Guidelines Poster
IDEAlliance® announced today the release of the Printing Guidelines 2011 poster, a joint industry effort sponsored by DEER, IDEAlliance's non-profit charitable foundation. The 2011 Printing Guidelines Poster is designed to help print buyers and print providers achieve consistent, high quality color printing, according to the latest G7® specifications and ISO standards.
The Printing Guidelines 2011 poster is a valuable reference tool for every professional in graphic communications, including creatives and print buyers, as well as prepress, proofing and pressroom professionals.
The poster clearly explains how Creatives and Print Buyers can ensure content is prepared, proofed and printed as accurately as possible. It addresses the challenges facing color printing and examines how to manage print expectations. The Prepress & Proofing section of the poster describes how to convert creative materials into press-ready CMYK files, and how to create and verify accurate prepress proofs. The Pressroom section charts ISO-standard inks and substrates, and the G7® print control metrics for various print specifications.
The four-color, high quality poster is sponsored in part by Agfa Corporation, CGS Publishing, Condotta Visual Media, Dalim Software, EFI, Epson, Fujifilm, GMG, HutchColor, Integrity Graphics, JohnsByrne Company, Kodak, manroland, RIT, Sappi, Xerox, X-Rite, Pantone, and IDEAlliance.
The poster is available for the cost of shipping and handling, or via download at www.printtools.org, or by contacting Nanette Nathan at email@example.com or (703) 837-1093.
